iDatalink meets Mitsubishi

iDatalink's HRN-HRR-MI1 wiring adapter allows you to connect a new car stereo in select 2008-20 Mitsubishi vehicles, working in conjunction with iDatalink's Maestro ADS-MRR or Maestro ADS-MRR2 module (sold separately). Once connected, you'll retain the use of your steering wheel audio controls in these vehicles.

The package includes connectors that plug in between the Maestro module, your factory radio's wiring plugs, and your new car stereo. You'll have to solder or splice together this harness's power/ground, illumination, speaker, and navigation output wires to the corresponding wires on your aftermarket receiver's wiring harness.

Keeping your factory cameras and more

If you're installing a car stereo with an iDatalink port, this harness also allows you to retain the backup camera (and front and side cameras if present) in your Mitsubishi vehicle, as long as your receiver has the necessary inputs. In addition, you'll also keep your factory amplifier's fader, gain adjustment, and speed-compensated volume, and you'll be able to view engine performance data and other vehicle info on your receiver's screen.

This harness features an in-line head-unit connector harness, which will plug into iDatalink's new "Head-unit direct" harnesses for select radio brands. If you're installing a radio that doesn't work with a "Head-unit direct" harness, you simply cut off the plug and connect the wires to the harness included with your new radio.

Installation note: The HRN-HRR-MI1 adapter must be used with the iDatalink Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module to connect a new car stereo to your vehicle. This adapter works with select 2008-19 Mitsubishi vehicles with amplified and non-amplified systems.
